I’m Iwona, the founder and lead dental hygienist behind Knight Dental Hygiene Group. My passion for oral health and preventative care has guided my career for over two decades – and today, I’m proud to be making dental hygiene more accessible, mobile, and personalised than ever before.
My journey began in 2000, when I moved from my home country of Poland to the UK. It was here that I first entered the dental world as a dental nurse – and quickly discovered my deeper calling: to educate and empower patients through preventative oral healthcare. That passion led me to train and qualify as a dental hygienist, a role I’ve embraced wholeheartedly ever since.
Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for delivering high-quality, compassionate care, and I’m proud to say that my patient reviews reflect that dedication. One of my proudest professional moments was being named a finalist at the Private Dentistry Awards for Best Hygienist in the UK – a recognition that speaks to my commitment to clinical excellence.
But I’ve always wanted to do more than work within the walls of dental practice. That’s why, alongside my day job and family life, I spent the past three years building Knight Dental Hygiene Group – a mobile service that brings professional, preventative dental care directly to people where they live, work, and learn.
Through this venture, I’m on a mission to make oral health easier, more inclusive, and truly centered on the needs of the individual.
