Our Clinical Standards
At Knight Dental Hygiene Group, we uphold the same rigorous clinical standards and infection control protocols as any regulated dental practice. Patient safety, hygiene, and comfort are at the heart of everything we do — no matter where your appointment takes place.
We meticulously prepare for each individual visit to ensure a clean, safe, and sterile environment:
- Sterile Instruments
A fresh, sterilised set of instruments is used for every patient. After use, instruments are sealed and transported to our dedicated sterilisation facility for thorough decontamination.
- Surface Disinfection
All clinical surfaces are thoroughly disinfected between each visit using medical-grade products.
- Sterilisation
At the end of each working day, all reusable equipment is returned to our sterilisation facility. Instruments are cleaned, inspected, and sterilised using industry-leading equipment — all in accordance with UK dental guidelines. Once processed, instruments are sealed and prepared for the next patient.
- Certified Equipment
Our equipment is serviced and maintained according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Single-Use Attachments
All disposable components are replaced between patients, with no exceptions.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
We follow strict PPE protocols. masks, gloves, aprons, and other protective gear are single-use and replaced for every patient.
